Gretchen Graf has been a pastor and teacher in Grand Forks and East Grand Forks since 1993. Eight years ago, she was diagnosed with myelofibrosis, a form of chronic leukemia and prevents bone marrow from making blood.
In August, Gretchen will begin a bone marrow transplant process with her sister as her donor. Gretchen and a caregiver will need to live in Rochester, Minn., for almost four months for this transplant at the Mayo Clinic medical complex and then travel frequently for follow up during the next year.
Join the community for some sweet treats Tuesday (July 12) and wish Gretchen well.
